Don't release the chocolate too soon!
Keep it under the licorice row until you can remove all
or most of it.
First work on the left side of the board.
Try to make a stripe & wrap combo!
If you can do this on the left side of the board you can remove the chocolate & chained rows all in one go.
Or use horizontal striped sweets to remove the chocolate from under the chain.

Do not unlock the candy on the right until you have cleared the chocolate!
A couple of well-placed horizontally striped candy can clear the chocolate rows, but better still is a striped/wrapped combo because it can clear 3 rows and if you aim it just right, you can unlock the lollies at the same time.
To drop the combo to the right level, make matches on the right hand side (again careful not to unleash the chocolate.) this level can be cleared if you have no choice but to release the chocolate, but it’s a battle.
Don’t release the chocolate too soon! Keep it caged under the chains until you can remove all or most of it, in one blow. In the beginning, only f
ocus on the left side of the playing area. Even sweeter tip of the day: Make a stripe + bomb combo! Do this in the left part of the playing area by removing the chains and both rows of chocolate at once. You can also use horizontal striped candy to remove the chocolate rows one by one.
